A very good quality of the limestone powder with high contents of calcium carbonate (CaCO3) can guarantee a good efficiency of wet sulfur removal from power plant flue gases. According to Ahlstrom Standard, both a reactivity index RI < 2,5 and absolute sorption index CI > 120 are ranked as ‘ excellent’.
